We live out of state and knew it was going to be a challenge. Plus, we had a VA loan. And as many know, military members and agents, it can seem impossible for a seller to accept a VA loan in today's housing market. But given the right circumstances of a willing seller and the drive of a good agent, our hopes of buying a home that checked all the boxes became a reality. We felt this was a big decision to make long distance and that meant ensuring getting it right the first time. We've moved many times in the past and wanted this to be a final destination for us in retirement.
